At Little Sprouts, we believe children thrive when they are surrounded by caring, connected, and inspiring leaders—and that leadership comes in many beautiful forms.
Our Little Sprouts Team, lovingly known as our Garden Guides, are the magic makers and the heart of our days. Whether they’re helping a child work through a big feeling, explore a new idea, or experience a proud “I did it!” moment, our team shows up every day with intention and love. They are patient listeners, skilled educators, calm guides, and enthusiastic cheerleaders. Our Garden Guides meet children where they are, celebrate who they are becoming, and guide them with warmth, consistency, and respect.
Every thriving garden needs strong roots—and ours are our families. Parents and caregivers are among our greatest teachers and most trusted guides, nurturing curiosity, modeling empathy, and sharing their unique gifts with our community. Their presence, partnership, and lived wisdom help shape each child’s journey in meaningful ways.
Our greatest teachers come in many forms, and parents are truly at the heart of our learning garden. Through love, insight, patience, and collaboration, families strengthen our community each day—growing, learning, and exploring alongside us.
We deeply value the role you play in shaping who your child is becoming.
We are grateful for the way you help cultivate a space where children feel supported, inspired, and free to wonder.
We can’t wait for you to join our community and be a part of the magic!
Swim Instructor & Garden Guide
Since 2004, my summers have been defined by chlorine, sunshine, and the joy of teaching kids to master the water. As a former competitive swimmer, I’ve spent over two decades coaching the next generation—a passion that’s only grown since becoming a mother to my now 3-year-old. We’re happiest when we’re playing outside or splashing in the water together!
I’m deeply committed to serving underserved communities across Los Angeles, because I truly believe water safety is a necessity, not a luxury. I bring a patient, encouraging style to the pool deck, ensuring every child feels safe and confident.
When I’m not poolside, I’m deep in the world of science. A proud California Lutheran University alum, I’ve built a career in clinical research since 2008, including over a decade as an Oncology Research Manager. I like to think my "research brain" is my secret coaching weapon—bringing the same discipline and attention to detail to a swim stroke as I do to a clinical trial!

Founder & Garden Guide
Hi! I am the founder and a teacher at Little Sprouts Learning Garden. Having 12 years of experience working with kids in a variety of environments, my passion for helping all children reach their potential remains rooted in love. Love for children, where the children can be seen, heard, and embraced to support their growth and development. Love for creating community, supporting, and empowering each other to build a healthy, respectful world. Love for the earth, honoring nature's flora and fauna, and building a lifelong love of the natural world.
I received my Bachelor’s degree, with honors, in Child Development from Cal State Northridge with an emphasis on social and emotional development.
I taught in a preschool for 6 years, was a nanny, ran my own homeschool, and worked with an outdoor nature school. In addition to being at Little Sprouts, I tutor students in Kindergarten through High school. I tutor a variety of subjects, specializing in literacy, helping students achieve their academic goals and develop a strong sense of self. I tutor how I teach, with a genuine passion for the love of wonder and learning.
My strong background in child development has been one of my greatest teachers and tools for self-development. I've learned that adults should facilitate and ask questions while the child answers, thus allowing them to be the architects of their own learning and development. When a child is involved in the process, it becomes meaningful to them, and a sense of ownership develops. This, in turn, provides an opportunity for them to build autonomy, connection, courage, and a foundation for future successes.
I believe in love and respect.
I believe in the power of communication.
I believe in telling the truth.
I believe books are treasure.
I believe in 7 hugs a day.
I believe nature heals.
I believe play is how we learn.
I believe imagination is your superpower.
I believe in you!
I'm proud to be a part of Little Sprouts and can't wait to meet you at the garden!
