Outdoor enrichment for curious learners ages 2–5, LA Kids Outside offers a hands-on, nature-based approach to early learning through play, exploration, and discovery.

Set in a vibrant outdoor learning environment, children are invited to slow down, follow their curiosity, and engage with the natural world in meaningful ways.

Through experiences like nature exploration, seasonal activities, creative outdoor play, and simple science-based discovery, children build early skills in problem-solving, communication, cooperation, and emotional awareness, while developing confidence and a lasting connection to nature.

Family participation is an important part of our program. These are shared learning experiences where parents and guardians remain present, engaging alongside their children as they learn and explore together.

As our programs continue to grow, opportunities expand beyond the garden into seasonal outings, field trips, and community-based adventures that keep learning alive in new environments.

Our mobile specialty classes combine play-based learning with hands-on exploration across a wide range of subjects and ages, including theater, music, creative design, expressive arts, science, writing, math, and more.

Sessions can be booked as individual specialty classes, multi-class series, or even a full day of enriching lessons, depending on your needs. Our flexible format allows us to support everything from single workshops to complete enrichment days.

Classes are thoughtfully designed to be engaging for learners from Pre-K through high school, with experiences that are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and meaningful at every stage.

Our sessions are designed to support mixed-age learning, peer collaboration, leadership development, and confidence-building. Our 1:1 tutoring sessions follow the same student-centered, engaging philosophy as our group programs, with learning experiences thoughtfully tailored to each individual. We work with students from Pre-K through high school, supporting growth in reading, writing, math, science, creative expression, and other academic or enrichment areas based on each student’s goals and needs.

Sessions are designed to build not only academic skills, but also confidence, independence, critical thinking, and a positive relationship with learning. Through hands-on, interactive, and developmentally appropriate approaches, students are supported in ways that help concepts feel meaningful, accessible, and empowering.
